Child safety standards

Saunatic is an app for adults (18 and over) about public saunas, sauna logging and sauna inspiration. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any sexualised depiction of a minor, grooming, and attempts to contact minors.

What is prohibited

Any sexual content involving a minor, any content that sexualises minors, and any attempt to use Saunatic to contact or exploit a minor. Our content rules say so, and every user accepts them before their first upload.

Prevention

Every uploaded picture is checked automatically before anyone else can see it; pictures the check is unsure about wait for a person. An account needs an email address, and users must be 18 or older.

Reporting

Every picture, comment, review and sauna in the app has a report action with a reason, and reports go to our moderators. Anyone can also write to safety@saunatic.app - you do not need to give your name.

Enforcement

Confirmed CSAE content is removed immediately, the account is closed, and we report it to the Swedish Police (polisen.se). We make the material inaccessible, never copy or pass it on ourselves, and hand it over to the police at their request.

Compliance

We follow Swedish and EU law on child safety, including the Digital Services Act's obligations for services that host user content.
